- Approximate geolocation (country-level, for default market selection)

- Watchlist preferences (stored locally on your device)

- Trading or brokerage data

How We Use Your Information
- Authentication: To create and manage your account
- Notifications: To send push notifications you opt into

- Communication: To send account-related emails (verification, password reset)
Data Storage and Security
- Account data is stored on secure servers with PostgreSQL database
- Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text
- Authentication uses JWT (JSON Web Tokens) with 7-day expiration
- Local preferences (watchlists, theme, language) are stored on your device using encrypted storage (Expo SecureStore)
- All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption

Data Retention
- Your account data is retained as long as your account is active
- You can request account deletion at any time by contacting us
- Local device data is removed when you uninstall the app
